Iron Man Season 2, Episode 7 Distant Boundaries (Part 2)

An unmanned alien ship arrives on Earth with a message begging for Iron Man's help against Dark Aegis. Iron Man is determined to help, since it was he that left Dark Aegis adrift in space, and readies the ship for take off. Jim, who is determined to conquer his fears, suits up as War Machine again to accompany Iron Man. But a dangerous stoaway threatens their mission.

@CN90s Major improvement is the understatement of the year. The first season had laughably bad dialogue, the same plot in almost every episode (mandarin wants to steal a weapon from stark), and poor voice work. Not to mention the themes were basically good vs evil. The second season actually develops characters, has the occasional moral grey area, and uses different foils/plots for Tony. It essentially went from a laughable self-parody to a thoughtful, well-made show
