On the day before Thanksgiving 2010, me and my wife discovered we were expecting our first child. As an artist, I wanted to paint a mural for the baby's room and I wanted to do something different. As I was looking at other nursery murals, I saw where another couple decorated a nursery in Super Mario World. My wife agreed if we had a boy, I could paint the room in a Mario Bros. theme. In March of 2011, we discovered we were having a boy. In June, I started drawing out and painting what I was going to put on the walls. I was originally planning on painting different scenes from the different games. But when we were looking at artwork, it became more of a Super Mario Bros. 3 theme (It would of been a fully SMB3 nursery, but the first wall has artwork from the New Super Mario Bros. for the DS). On July 27, 2011 at 10:51 pm, our son, Henry Colin Smith IV, was born. Before and after his birth, I worked hard to get his murals done. To paint all of these walls, it took me over a period of 5 months. I would of been done sooner, but everyone wanted to see the baby and that required a lot of weekends traveling.

about how much money do u think it cost u to paint the wall at 3:38 im starting a super smash bros 1 only have drawn pikachu so far. It looks like there about the same size and i was gonna do a maria back round also.

@OGxMizat To paint of the murals, I probably spent at least $200 in paint and supplies. I say for that wall, (if you did like me and buy the basic colors in acrylic paint and mix um that way) I say about $50.
