A lot of people-professionals as well as amateurs- have attempted this song-originally sung by janab Wali Mohammed for a Pakistani film,it has been doing "the rounds" recently as I witnessed at a local concert last weekend-with disastrous results-leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
You have the talent to improve as you have and I would advise you to look up Anup Jalota's version on U-tube-as this is how this song ought to have been sung -with due respect to the original artist.

@01Musicguru Thank you. I also did a duet version of this in my last show. I will load it soon. It sounds better just because sound system was better. Will look up Anup jalota version.

...it is obvious that you have had some classical training...may I ask who was your ustaad.??.You are definately in SUR and it also seem's that a bit of RIAZ would definately polish your voice further.
I am of the inclination,that this is not your full time hobby and thus I feel it would be an injustice if you were not given an 8-out of 10 for your efforts.

@01Musicguru Thank you for you comments. You are right I had about 10 years of classical training. age 5 to 15. Then my ustad died. Training stoped. Of course this is not my profession not even a full time hobby. I am a very busy physician in USA. Most of these songs are recorded from light shows. They are not studio recording. I am sure studio recording will sound a lot different. PLZ visit my channel page and listen to some other songs and make comments.

Listening to you for the first time. Must tell, Im superbly impressed. Being a singer myself, I know how technically you need to perfect to sing such songs, you sang it so well with playing around the raags ups and downs. Good job done! Thank You for sharing ur performance with us.
