NS & CSX pull a 3 way meet on April Fools day.

April 1, 2007. While train watching on Conrails 31st birthday I saw an interesting train meet took place at BE tower. An eastbound run through Union Pacific coal train from the powder river basin led by AC4400s 6052 & 5969 goes by BE tower. As the tail end of the drag passes by we were surprised to see a westbound run through BNSF empty coal train heading back to the powder river basin led by ES44ACs 6050 & 5789. Ironic that 2 coal trains from both western railroads would meet on CSX rails led by 2 4,400 horsepower AC traction products of different modals elephant style. And as an added surprise NS sends a westbound manifest through the interlocking at the same time (power unidentified)

I've been filming at BE tower for nearly 5 years. I've only seen like 2-4 4 way meets before but ya it gets very active at times.
