@berlinzerberus ja ich mag diese Interpretation, warum nicht? Ich habe die Augen geschlossen und der Musik gelauscht. Diese Interpretation hat mich erreicht. Über Virtuosität des Pianisten und die Bilder des Videos mag ich nicht zu urteilen, das steht mir nicht zu. Ob Beethoven diese Interpretation so gewollt hat, vermag ich auch nicht zu beurteilen. Auf alle Fälle spüre ich die Seele des Pianisten.

This should be a firework of human spirit. I miss the fire and enthusiasm in this interpretation. Richter plays with great skill, but for my taste with too little stature to do the symphony justice. Piano and orchestra are great following 6:34. The postcards are a distraction from the music.
