Dude, I think if it's read in a certain way, a BIKINI- even just the bottoms- can be intepreted as a hijab. It all depends on how people pick & choose what they believe.

The following verse (64:14), among others, refutes honour killing:
O you who believe! Verily, among your wives and your children there are enemies for you (i.e. may stop you from the obedience of Allah), therefore beware of them! But if you pardon (them) and overlook, and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And when the stars shall fall. And when the mountains shall made to pass away... And when the female child buried alive shall be questioned on her behalf: "For what sin she was killed?"
Noble Quran 81:2-9
And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely, the killing of them is a sin of great magnitude.
Noble Quran 17:31

"Trust me and I assure you Islam is against the killing of innocent ppl."
A good religion should never say killing any one is right .....who is to say who is innocent ?? .....
personally .... I believe that the only reason religions exists is cause we are too scared of death. and kings needed to control their population with threats.

" Invite (all) To the way of Thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious" {16:125}
How is shooting a defenseless child beutiful and gracious?

This is a tragedy, but it is not due to the followings of a religion. It is a distortion of religion. Our out rage for this terrible act can not be misdirected towards a religion. We need to look at this in the same way we look at cases like the Andrea Yates drowings. She was a christian and believed that she was drowing her children to save their souls. Christians do not randomly kill children in the name of God. This was a random act by a father who only coincidentally was Islamic.

How is this a misconception of Islam? Have you read the Qur'an and the Hadiths? In the Bible everytime the command for violence is given that people or nation is given by name. In the Islamic scriptures violence is commanded against unbelievers, hypocrites, and mischief-makers, so it's open-ended. Example: "Then when the sacred months have passed, then kill the disbelievers wherever you find them (Qur'an 9:5). Why is it that most cases of honor killings are in the Muslim world?

First of all about Hazart Mariam was from old times at that time there was no such rule but when Islam came with it came new rules.By the way the bible now is a corrupt form you know that as does the rest of the world.And the verse you read try to understand it first and then try to explain to other people get an explanation of Holy Quran because it not easy to understand.

The Old Testament was translated from Hebrew into Greek in the 3rd to 1st century B.C. and the Dead Sea scrolls are from the 1st century B.C.. The Old Testament today matches these documents. So if the Old Testament today, matches the Old Testament from the 1st century B.C. where does that leave Muhammad in the 7th century A.D.?
