Sanitation Officer Blocks Hydrant- Jimmy Justice Reuters

While on assignment with Reuters News Service, we come across a Sanitation Officer parked blocking a fire hydrant.

It is dangerous and unlawful to block a fire hydrant. When confronted, Officer Owongou said she did it because "there was no parking."

When driving in New York City it sometimes appears that there are more cars than streets.In congested areas it can be difficult to find a legal parking spot.Sometimes drivers leave their cars parked improperly for just a few moments while they run into a store to use the bathroom.Traffic officers are notorious for showing a lack of discretion, and many people are ticketed as they are getting back into their vehicles and ready to leave.
But what are we supposed to do? As Officer Owongou says "there was no parking."

looks like these are a bunch of fat hogs driving around in cars ,making money for the corparation ,i guess all the males are , away killing people and stealing there oil ,..nothing changes does it :)

@Tirrelldj1234 Well, she is not really a cop, but traffic enforcer. And I agree with you. Although many of our cops here are in shape, a lot of them here are overweight, however, because they have union that would protect them from out of jobs. Therefore, many of them are not in shape. That is bad.

idk what your saying, are you saying im going to need help from a traffic cop???, im a firefighter/emt and umm i really never needed help from a traffic cop, what jimmy justice is doing is great, he is the only guy who has balls to do what he is doing, i bet if you got a ticket for parking there you would be kinda piss,
