PC Engine Arcade CD-ROM - Sapphire (Gameplay)

Here is some footage from the first stage of Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire (Galaxy Policewoman Legend Sapphire). See the intro for more details on its background. As you can see, it generally looks pretty nice, but the sound is kinda lousy... I assume it has something to do with MagicEngine not handling it very well... but then, the PC Engine's sound hardware was never that wonderful. At any rate, this is a short sampling of the gameplay of the most expensive PC Engine/TurboGrafx CD game out there. For my money, I'd buy Dracula X: Rondo of Blood instead. It's a much better game, particularly for less than half that price.
And yes, I know I'm not playing very well. I suck at shmups, and make no apologies for my lack of mad skillz.

Pretty damn good shooter, not to mention it's known to be slightly more expensive than Dracula X, that's why collectors get skeptical because there's dupes going around.

No surprise there. Dracula X isn't THAT expensive, though... it can be had used in Japan for the rough equivalent of $110. I just got my hands on a bunch of Turbo and PCE CDs, though, so I'll have to see if I can't get some more videos up soon.
