THE LATIN SENTENCE


The latin sentence is also divided into parts:


Essential terms
Integral terms
Accessory terms

Essential terms are:

A. Subject
B. Predicate
C. Subject Predicate
D. Object Predicate

Integral terms are:

A. Verbal Complements (Direct and Indirect Objects)
B. Nominal Complements
C. Passive Agent

Accessory terms are:

A. Adnominal Adjunct
B. Adverbial Adjunct
C. Appositive


The Vocative is not actually considered a part of the sentence.

As the same way as in Greek, the learning of the parts are connected to the verb and its complements
