what the fuck is this interviewer playing at?! I swear alot of people see Pekar as some sort of novelty, comedy figure but jesus! the guy is such an amazing writer, why dont people take him just a little more seriously?

You can see him kinda smile when he answered these silly questions. If you know this type of person then you understand their sense of humor. It seemed like he enjoyed the interview and it doesnt seem like he would take part in something if he thought it was bullshit.

Jesus... Lighten the fu@k up you guys! Harvey had a great time doing this goofy interview. Do you really think if he wasn't he would sit through this? Just because you have read his comic books and saw a movie about him it doesn't mean you know shit about the man. He had a great sense of humor and had a great time during the filming.
