@Julleh99 "lost in translation" is a perfect concept for what happened to the song, both the meaning and flow of the song is mostly lost, and the product of the translation is in a lower league.
Even more so than Alex C. feat. Y-ass - Du hast den schönsten Arsch der Welt -> You have the sweetest ass in the world. watch?v=CQian1hYNaA (german) vs watch?v=NVqPm21hTIE (english). But less so than basshunter's hits Boten Anna and DoTA, which only kept the melody in the english versions.
