  • @whonjectr perhaps... but calling someone a pop tart no fair no nice didnt you learn that in kindergarten??

  • wow she is incredible! what we had then was precious. brings me right back to 1971 again. I was only 15. God bless Marilyn and the 5th Dimension always! nothing compares today I'm sorry.

  • great quality. What a voice

  • Yes many of the singers of today need to realize that less is more. They oversell and use way too many vocal acrobatics which makes them appear that they are showing off, not feeling the music. Marilyn McCoo always had a pure, beautiful and musical voice and this tune is fantastic.

  • @gamergirl464 I was unfamiliar with this version and simply making ridiculous gushing statements about something doesn't make it true. I've listened. It's not great. I'm not interested in comparing it to today's music just correcting some misguided comments about who is and isn't a good singer. Awesome mebollix.

  • @Arsenogenics This rendition and Marilyn McCoo are both awesome!!!! It sounds the way it does because it is the sound of the 60's, a different era and sound from today's music. Listen to her voice and recognize true talent, not autotunes. Also listen to "one less bell", and Age of Aquarius. Simply beautiful!!!!!

  • Club dogo - Serpi

  • One Great Diva! Real Talent!

  • This version is the one I heard first--the Association's version is far weaker by comparison to it.

  • @whonjectr That's my point and apologies for disagreeing with you. I'm referencing this song because I'm arranging it. Didn't even know this version existed. The out of tune original of the Association blows this version away. By the way you're completely incorrect if you think that modern singers can't sing this blandly. Anyone with a mild talent can. Cary and Beyonce are better singers technically. How they choose to sing is their choice [not my cup of tea either].
