I have the smaller spec elite 1 and I love it. So easy to open and close. No worry cutting yourself opening it like some others. Sturdy and locks up great even after a lot of hard use. The steel is Ok for a stainless steel. Doesn't hold an edge as good as some other knives, but other than that it's an amazing design.

Great review. Just subscribed. It looks like the it doesn't have a pivot screw to adjust blade play. Maybe I could not see it. I considered buying this knife. I bought the Cold Steel Voyager Extra Large. It was cheaper. But I am still thinking about this one, especially if there is a screw to adjust balde play.

@flystagg Hmm, I have maybe half a millimeter of play. I am very happy with it. Maybe you need to tighten some of the bolts?
