I got my first boxer back in December..he is now 9 weeks old and already had his tail docked..i'm curious why you would want to put an elastic band around their tail? Seems to me that it would be kinda pointless....

Its all to do with the breed standard. In Aus, a lot of breeders stopped breeding boxers due to the new anti-tail docking law. Which I find so silly. Boxers and boxers, with or without a tail!

hey , i see the way ur boxer pups still have they're tails , i have 2 boxer pups that have they're tails at 4 weeks old , can i still put an alastic band around they're tail...or would it hurt them too much? plzz reply..i subscribed.!

sorry for late reply. Tails docking is now illegal in Australia. And yes, it would hurt them way to much to put a elastic around their tail. It would feel the same as someone wrapping at elastic around your lower spine and leaving it there!
