wow. I grew up 1n east peoria, almost 19 years. i went to school and hung out in peoria and passed that building everyday. now its a walmart. i'd rather have the abandoned building. . .

i am a peoria resident and i also remember that building it was such a landmark and really was more of "time piece" than anything else, i wish it were still there

I remember that day. I was a kid and my dad brought me and my brother out on our porch on Sheridan Rd to feel the tremors from the demo. I was happy when it was gone, the old building used to freak me out
