iPhone 4 Signal Issue: How It Varies By Network Coverage

This is a quick video showing what I found during my bumper test the other day. In the sweet spot of my house my left hand has no effect and 5 bars holds steady. When I move about 10 feet to the right of this spot the normal issues kick back in.

I get 3 bars imy room, but I lose them all when I hold it normally (left hand) not squeezing, just holding it regularly. Called Apple and they sent me a free bumper, just got it in the mail and I have 0 issues!

My bars would go down, but I'v never had a dropped call caus of it!!

Yeah I have noticed this issue as well.. Never used to happen with my 3GS.

Very interesting and makes sense compared to my test in an AT&T store in the "Sweet" spot

@grahamteeling I hold my phone many ways and this is one of them. If you don't, lucky you, but don't tell me how I'm going to hold my phone.

Why the hell would you squeeze the phone to death like that any way, you are actually cutting off the signal yourself. your NEVER gonna hold your phone like that EVER..
