Boa can not speak cinese, she still sings. Shinhwa sings chinese but they don't know how to speak. Alot of singers out there can "sing" in a language but when it comes to speaking, they are not fluent at all. It is all phoenetics and rehearsing enuciation. You never hear people sing karaoke and ask for pin yin , konglish, romanji? it is because they can't speak language but they can phoenetically sound it out

music can break the language barrier like se7en said before, and i always believe this, music is for entertaining not understandin, u can understand a song, but the purpose of an artist makin a song is for u to enjoy it, but the song have a message to so yea, u have to understand the message..

Well, I sing alot of songs I don't fully understand. I understand it because of english subs although some are usually not that accurate.. To me.. it's not stupid at all.. example you are.. lets say.. chines and dont understand japanese yet you REALLY love a song.. ofcourse youd like to learn how to sing it although you cant speak the language entirely.
