HD DVD don't have regions code! we can buy films all over the world.
Now, bluray.....coded everywhere.

Yes, 1080p is nice but you'll only noticed the difference in 1080p and 1080i if your TV is over 45 inches, anything below that you wont.

True, mine is usually set on 720p which I think looks better than 1080i.
