Gray (5'11" 180 lbs. Smyrna High School, Smyrna, TN) works the first inning in his second start of the 2010 season against UCLA. Gray sat in the low to mid 90s, topping out at around 96 with his fastball. He overthrew his change-up at times, throwing it at 87 at least once, but it was an effective pitch early. His breaking stuff was in the low to mid 80s.
