Un essai pour le sport a été imprimé avec une cuillère. C'est possible mais c'est trop difficile et l'impression moins bien qu'avec une presse taille-douce.

For sport a print with a spoon is possible but too difficult and not very well, so use an etching press.

This is great! I have been workign on this today but ....I have been using a COPPER PLATE. I had one image work in the very beggining but then the entire afternoon I have been wiping my drawings away....is ther eanyway you can use copper????? Thanks for sharing this! love that it is non-toxic!

Hi It's possible that it works with a copper plate. It works on zinc too. I will try. Alumimium is more stabibility. Thank's a lot for your post. Do you know the forum Inkteraction ? We wil can speak more about it.

@baffinnh no, I don't know that forum . It sounds interesting.

I had so many problems with the drawing yesterday. It kept washing off the plate. I used some good handmade soap too. Even when I used oil pastel that washed off. Do you think USA cola is different than your cola? did you put gum arabic in the cola? on another note, do you know Peregrine Press group in USA? Printmakers. We can talk more about that. cheers

Be careful with cola you must read acide phosphoric in the cola's composition. You must try again. K-Litho is simple but still lithography . Attemps ares necessaries. See you on emilion@laposte.net

Sinon brièvement. Merci d'abord. Ensuite, première question : avez-vous déjà fait de la lithographie ? Le papier alu que vous utilisez est-il bien SANS téflon ou autre surfaçage en plastique ? Le savon est-il de Marseille ou pur végétal 72% ? Si compliquez dessinez avec un crayon graphite 8 ou 9B et dans ce cas pas besoin d'huile pour faire disparaître le trait. Une prochaîne vidéo montrant ça se prépare. Amicalement

Par contre impossible de reproduire cette technique

Le savon part avec le passage du coca,

l'huile enlève le reste. Il n'y a plus rien sur la feuille d'alu :-(

L'encrage reste uniforme, pas de zone restant suffisamment mouillée pour écarter l'encre.

Je ne dois pas être très doué ou c'est proche du miracle.

Je dois rater quelque chose

Si vous avez des conseils je suis preneur.

Il y a de l'acide phosphorique et de la gomme arabique dans le cola. L'acidulation rend l'aluminium hydrophile sur les zones non protégées par le savon (ou autre corps gras). On mouille (éponge/eau) l'alu avant de l'encrer avec une encre grasse. L'eau s'écarte du trait et stagne sur les parties blanches. L'encre grasse n'adhère que sur le dessin. La lithographie est basée sur le principe du refus de l'eau et du gras. C'est Aloys Senefelder qui a découvert cela à la fin du XVIII e siècle.

Hello ! Merci beaucoup pour ce document extrêmement didactique. Je ne comprends simplement pas pourquoi il y a adjonction de Cola à un certain moment... Pour fixer le savon, le glucose durcit-il le savon, l'empêche-t-il de se dissoudre à l'eau ?
