America love both Obama & McCain!

  • thumbs up mccain, too bad he had too many redneck supporters.

  • McCain would have benefitted from having this much class throughout this campaign. He did a great job, and although I am an Obama supporter through and through, I believe McCain's level of class in this speech was heartfelt and moving. I only wish his crowd had that level of class.

  • @evansville70 touché, I was not aware of that. thanks for pointing it out. I'll do some research on it. I will say this, it was a clever way to distract me from my main point about Iraq being a war having nothing to do with a military or terrorist threat to our country. I commend the troops for the wonderful job they are doing but despise Bush for having gotten us involved in the first place, on that specific issue I have not been convinced otherwise, the war on terror is a separate issue

  • Do you feel George Bush was wrong to send troops in the Philippines, North Africa and East Africa?

Have you ever heard of Ansar Al Isam?

  • @evansville70 A.) I wasn't born yet.

B.)I did watch that speech. He was wrong on a lot of things. Instead of listening to the intelligence agencies he came in with pre-conceived ideas about who the enemy was and put together a commission in the pentagon that would make the evidence fit the conclusion instead of the way it's supposed to be. I have no doubt he had our best interests in mind and that he truly believed he was doing the right thing but he was dead set 2 go after iraq no matter what

  • Then how come all of you did not complain when we sent troops to the Philippines, North Africa and East Africa? But only complained when we sent troops to Iraq? The war is bigger then Afghanistan. If you would watch the speech George W. Bush made to congress on September 20, 2001 then you would understand. Deny it all you want but the bottom line is that the left tried to loose the war in Iraq.

  • it's not that we wanted bush to lo0ose the war, it's that we thought that going after the people responsible for 9/11 was more important.

  • I did not know that under Bush we had a 10% unemployment rate. I did not know that Bush had $ trillion deficit like Obama has.

  • @evansville70

The economy that bushed left us with by entering a war that costed us billions ?

If you still think a plane brought those towers down then you must be a republicunt.

  • And I wish you democrats would have had class instead of trying to lose the war in iraq just to make George W. Bush look bad. So how is Obama's hop and change doing for you? Have you looked at the shape of the economy lately?

  • the crowd was horrible! but what do you expect from mccain supporters john sold his soul to the devil to get the nomination and looked what happened the gop is pathetic! the better man wonOBAMA!!!

  • When he said "the promise of more peaceful years ahead" he had a very bitter and sarcastic smile.
