I can't remember what year it was, but I was working concert security for Bill Graham at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, Calif. Eric Clapton played and had Mark Knopfler with him. They played ALL Eric's stuff till the encore. When they came back on stage, Mark took center stage and the spotight, jammed his guitar for a couple minutes and broke into "Money for nothing" The crowd ROARED!!! 20,000 sold out.

@miserablemonkey For the most part any band out there that has talent like these guys, it's a band that's already been out there for many years! Any REALLY GOOD band will have their own style and will be hard to compare to any other band. So to ask about a band that's like THIS, is a VERY DIFFICULT question to answer. Many bands out of the 60's, 70's and SOME out of the 80's were GREAT! It all depends on the different styles you feel good with. If you like THIS kind of style, try Boz skaggs

I had the honour to meet Mr. Knopfler when he came to Brazil, and not only his music is great, he's a perfect gentleman, not affected as many others, so call "rock stars" with half or less of his talent...
