@aneagletall ,um...ok.["since everyone is stating their backgrounds"].im a nigerian; born and raised in america. im 19 and i still feel the same way about this video as i did 3 years ago. Posting videos to emphasize the dilapidated condition of nigeria, or africa as a whole is futile. The whole world already has a preconceived notion that africa is a war-tone, poverty stricken, mess of a continent. With that in mind, why don't we show the world that there is good in Africa. lets prove them wrong

@chiedozie I am a nigerian but english by birth. try and educate your mind this video is not to insult but tell all to stop stealing the money but build the country and help the people. the good houses do not need video but the bad and rundown places need all to see so if there is help anywhere it can be given. since the goverment steal it and spend it on their prostitude, family and useless friends. Thank this person not insult for they built good school and gave accomodation too peace and love

I live in Glasgow and from Ibadan..'my father his father and his fathers fathers' own the land with others...this is not nice..these pix were posted to scorn us and insult our hospitality..i.e that is the whiteman's way..

I'm Irish but have been to Nigeria (Lagos and Ibadan) I find Nigeria very different to Ireland. The Ibadan expressway being one example. I was just there a few weeks visiting my sister. She loves it. Check out my Ibadan video.

I lived in Ibadan for 18 months as a child in the 60's. A year ago Google provided high resolution pictures. I was amazed how the city center is the old city that I remember. I often review my "movies". Sometimes I want to go back but I don't know how I could find the time. Between a near snake incident, malaria, dysentery, a death threat family, and political unrest we survived at a good time in this countries history. The memories of that beautiful place and it's people are sweet.
