@xXBirDEXx125 You can look into and see if any of your local or neighboring Fire Department offers a Junior FF program. Local ones of mine consist of riding in the medic and helping with simple things, and doing training, to help you feel if being full time is the career for you.

@ethan7447 so im 16 is there any like training that i can do, or when can i become a FF, can i be a volenteer while still in HS?

@xXBirDEXx125 Not normally. Most case scenerios they will have a blacked out mask, or will put another nomex hood over their scba mask. its to simulate the darkness of a structure fire.

It's so easy for the instructors. They just stand there and yell at you. I've been through half of firefighter 1 before. It can get frustrating. I'll be going back to finish what I started in less than a month.
