@Rcbluewater you won't lose the fish it you keep a taught line. I've trolled for wahoo before and didn't lose a single fish taking the rod out of the holder

you are supposed to take the rod OUT of the in-gunwhale rod holder to reel in the fish. WOW anybody can "winch in" a fish!

Let me know when you guys want to compete in the wahoo tourney for real sometime... You need at least a 70lb+ fish and a few more techniques for gaffing that will come in time. You need to 86 the mono too. I can give you a few pointers from my new Invincible 33 if you want them. Let me know.
PS. My biggest hoo is 156lbs in Long Island Bahamas at a little place we call Diana...

JT - Nice fish at 156. Just FYI - we don't fish the tournaemnt, we run the tournament and we sneak out for a few hours to try our hand at the hoo. Never claiming to be experts.
