Using the Micro Imager on Spirit,try the pics underside again using AM/PM low sun angles for extreme shadows and max light for comparison. The rocks on the underside then get mapped more accurately 3Dimensionally with much less guesswork.

that sounds perfect we should be techs as well! Also to put extra wheels next time to help the rover cause it needs alot of wheels of they get stuck. also a helipad style wings on it so it can fly or hover off the ground if the wheels dont work!

i mean look at the wheels @ 1:00 i looks like the things were designed to get stuck. the things fill up with the dirt.. its a miricle that it hasn't gotten stuck until now. i suggest that on the next one have tank treds on the bottem. soo if the wheels get stuck the thing can lay down and tank its way out.

It's not like You people at JPL don't know what You're doing, but I'm sure that You understand that there needs to be much larger wheels to make the rover "float" on the powdery soil.
