Palm Size Helicopter
Much Better flights, stability and control
with some MIA's original mods adapted from the
original MIA's Palm Size (TM) Helicopters. Includes MIA's original 4ch IR system developed for the world's first IR heli, the 1990's MIA Robin IR helicopter.
So you thought IR helis are something new? NOT! See How Much Better this PiccoZ Toy Flies with MIA's MODS.

  • OK, I understand you used a 4CH handheld controller, but how did it work with a 2CH on-heli controller??? At best you could use the 2 channels out of the 4 available in your hands...

  • Remember.. I said, a custom 4 channel transmitter and receiver I had designed for a much earlier helicopter, so the original guts and transmitter were discarded.

  • please tell me how you did that it was soooooo kool plz plz

  • The control was done with a custom designed 4 channel Infra Red transmitter and receiver as I already explained before, the mechnical parts were done using muscle wire actuators, almost invisible thinner than hair extremely difficult to work wire material used for very lightweight experimental robotics. I am not in a position to disclose the actual design of my muscle wire actuators.

  • How do u make it a 4CH, it looks great, how did u find out???

  • I used my own design 4 chc IR system I made years a go for another heli I designed called the MIA Robin IR. I find out things by going to school, lots of reading and trying things on my own.

  • great idea..very cool..

  • nice vids nice work on the helicopters whish i had the brains too do that 2 mine

  • other way around :)

Trust me lol ive gone through 4 of em already...cats...pffft

  • Yes, the stock 2 channel toy heli can go in pseudo circles, but it must forced with a bit of nose weight, control is still limited this way, unfortunately, and you will not be able to fly the heli like a real 4 channel heli, unless, you modify electronically and mechanically, like it did. See my ohter video of a tiny MIA Palm-Size (TM) heli that is also flying with my 4 ch IR control board. Do a lookup on More from this user under my name. Have Fun!
