Prop 8 - Don't Believe the Lies

There is no mandate that gay marriage be "taught" in school. Sex education is not mandatory in California schools, but for the schools that do teach it, there is a focus on monogamy and marriage regardless of gender and orientation. This was already the case before gay marriage was made legal.

You're an idiot, this is another reason why religion should be banned. Look at science, it appears that just about every creature is more or less bisexual. Animals are involved in homosexual and heterosexual relationships all the time. Therefore homosexuality is natural and your god is a piece of shit that doesn't exist.

In my eyes as a Christian, they are not equal because they could not resist the temptation of evil. Spare me all the "how come god made them gay" talk. God doesn't make anyone anything, he created people but also gave them free will, and the power to overcome the homosexual temptation. But gay people refuse to overcome. Man and woman = pro-creation. whether your religious, atheist, or an evolutionist, this is what is natural, normal and necessary for the world to turn.

Churches have always been able to choose who they would and would not marry in religious ceremonies. Proposition 8, as well as the similar measures in Arizona and Florida, does not protect religious freedom, it strips a fundamental human right from a select group of American citizens. Regardless of how you feel about gay marriage, there is no denying that it is discrimination to allow one group of people to do something while denying it to another.

how can you call that voting no on prop 8 is fair when if it didnt pass, gays can make pastors and priest have to accept the according to the law with punishment if they refuse? its everyones own right to accept people for who they are. i accept gay people... but i still voted yes
