UPDATE: MICHALEK LEFT THE arena under his own power (walking fine) with his arm in a sling. Thankfully, it looks like an arm injury, not a head injury.

Morrow with a HUGE clean hit on Michalek in the last 10 seconds of the 3rd period heading into overtime.

Stars won 2-1 (Morrow scored) in 4th overtime.

San Jose Sharks at Dallas Stars, May 4-5, 2008. Game 6, Round 2, Western Conference Semi-Finals.

  • I was at this game. The whole place ERUPTED. Michalek dropped. He was on the ice for like 15 minutes, not getting up....it was great :)

  • clean hit...That's a good hard hockey hit...And I glad he was able to get up and get off the ice on his own power...just part of the game...That's what I love about hockey....I just hate that cheap shit that McSorley and Bertuzzi did

  • oh my god haha, i was sitting right at that corner like 10 rows up, it was so loud lol

  • Not even Zuby was expecting it. Flailed every which way during the hit. =D

  • it was a bit high but still on the shoulder

  • haha, look at the guy in the stands phoning someone at 1:34

  • Ugh hate to see that on one of my favourite players, but it was a good clean hit shoulder to shoulder/chest.

  • looks like shoulder on shoulder to me. which would be why Michalek had a seperated shoulder from the hit.

  • 2:09 u can tell its a high hit.

  • you can hear it even better at the game if you were in that section where I happen to be I was about 5 rows above where the camera is at 1:12
