Follow as you wish... But Revelation 17 lets us know who the Catholic church is. God Bless...

I've done my research. The Protestants Old Testament is the same as the modern day Torah. You are following the Jews of the counsel of Jamnia in 90 A.D. They rejected Jesus and threw out books and changed scripture in the old testament that clearly points to Jesus as the messiah That's the side you take. I take the side of the early Roman Catholic Church that used the Septuagint Greek Jewish Bible to spread the Gospel. You can not come up with any evidence to deny this claim.

Good verse. Jesus was of the same flesh as his mother Mary. We are honoring her as our mother in heaven. All glory is with Jesus our savior and our King in heaven. I just want to let you know I don't give Mary any more honor than her son Jesus gave her on Earth. The 4th commandment. In the Catholic Old Testament Jesus' passion is foretold in detail in the book of Wisdom 2: 12-20.

Isaiah 42:8 "I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images."

@CubsBears1984 "That no flesh should glory in his presence," 1 Corinthians 1:29. Where is there a mis-transaltion? As for Catholicism. The Protestants got their text direct from Greek/Hebrew, Read William Tyndale. You are mistaken in your referral for getting the text from rome, as the Catholic latin vulgate it is corrupted. Desiderius Erasmus in 1514 published the Real Greek New Test side by side with the Vulgate manuscripts which he proved rome was wrong. Research before commenting history.

Martin Luther and the protestant reformation changed the bible. If you believe in the infallible Bible doctrines than you must agree that the Catholic bishops under the direction of the holy spirit were able to compile the books of the Bible. In fact the Catholics have the true cannon of faith in it's entirety. Protestants got there bibles from Catholics and threw out important old testament books.

What version of the bible is this? You added your own words to this verse at the end. No where is Mary mentioned. Who is worshiping Mary anyway?

BrainScanMedia misquoted Revelation 22:8-9. Correct passage (King James Version) is: "And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God." There is no mention of Mary in this passage.
