I came to the idea of posting this video because this exact same intro (with the japanese music) is the one i saw while playing Sonic Jam in my younger days. It's also my favorite.

I didn't even notice the comment was over a year old until I made the post. It was pretty early in the morning, and a guy I know was showing me a bunch of Sonic stuff. I saw the comment and figured I'd do a good deed and educate him on rainbows.

@piplup10203854 Rainbows are created when light travels through drops of water and refract and are viewed from a certain angle. Rainbows actually do not exist as anything other than light. He didn't make a rainbow, he splashed water around. The fact that the water turned into a rainbow is just a funny exaggeration to make the character seem amazing.

Which he is.

Rainbow 101: All rainbows are double rainbows. There are just a lot of variables that affect visibility of the second arc.
