  • Marines? Go study some history before you make a comment. U.S marines fought on the Pacific front. The German Wehrmacht and Waffen SS were outnumbered and out supplied fighting The U.S Army in the Ardenne. One major role in Germany's defeat was due to its poor logistics and Mentaly instable leader Adolf Hitler. If you would take the time and look at the statistics, Germans Soldiers performed outstanding due to the conditions and odds.

  • Please! Consider removing the music soundtrack from this video. Many brave soldiers experienced horrors beyond anything you or I will ever see. We are free to type this day, because of their suffering and relentless efforts to stop hatred. I'd rather hear silence during the footage and honor these heroes. Thank you.

  • @Slovak84 ..,and go read the order of battle for both sides during the Ardenne offensive and realize your mistake. The Germans had the initial numeric superiority in both numbers and supply which they lost due to it's own stupidity like putting slow , petrol hungry heavy tanks into the lead elements 'spearheads'. Besides 'cockblocking' themselves and slowing the rate of advance. Any advantage in numbers was soon lost due to the inferior quality of the 1944' german soldier.

  • when men elevated themselves beyond the fear of death, war becomes a glorious thing, a fun thing to do.

  • @the82spartans There are numerous accounts of the Allies carrying out the same slaughter, but obviously it was not in the victors best interest for their own soldiers to be prosecuted for war crimes , It was not just the Nazis that were evil ! Bombing and killing civillians also.

  • @wuIfshelmut. War is Hell and people die. People died before the Americans. The Americans came and killed. When the Americans leave, there will more death. There will only be peace when the fighting will of the ignorant is extinguished.

  • The music lends a false sense of joy to footage portraying a grueling, grewsome and terrifying thing. War is terrible and should not be glorified. I also think it's AMAZING that such a crummy video has so many comments, and that most of these comments are arguing over who was worse-- the Americans or the Nazis. I'm American, and though I can sympathize with the experience of fighting men anywhere, war is HELL and the Nazis were DEVILS.

  • @valentinian2003 - So? You got nothing outside Dr. Diesel & a bit of early history about jet engines that were too late to make a differenced in WW 2. However, don't forget the electron microscope...perhaps the most important but yet the Kraut leadership gave it a pass back in the day. Too bad, considering Stalingrad in 1941-42'. I've been to Germany and I recommend it. You? Not so much.

  • @the82spartans Well, Fuckin' Kraut bastards?? check out the names of the inventors for four-stroke and diesel engine, phone, TV,s, jet engines, rocket's, your x-mas, automobiles, fahrenheit, geiger counter, even your coffee filter, Z3 (computer), automated chip card, odometer, MP3's, bicycle, typewriter, printing, light bulb, Tomato ketchup, radar, the watch, spark plug, infrared, x-rays, electric elevator, dynamo....all German inventions. Now u shut-up, TRASH. Wikipedia. German Inventions
