@78LeeCY you do realize people use worms for fishing too. besides I'm sure worms and insects don't feel pain....besides would you want to watch it eat a rabbit or mouse?

u are a very cruel person. earthworms are the most harmless beings in the world. u can feed your snakes pests or crickets, crocoaches or grubs. Dd earthworms harm u? how can u do this to these poor creatures? u have no good ending.

@yumekuimerry22 garter snakes have a really high metabolism and need fed more often than most snakes. babies (on worms) will eat every other day! Adults need fed twice a week, a mouse once and night crawlers or fish for the other feeding. I get their worms from my own back yard when I can but in the winter I buy them from the bait shop.

lol, yes they are both garters. They are checkered garter snakes found mostly in southern and western areas of Texas. The little green one is the "normal" color, and the yellow one is an albino. They are about a month old in this video.

they can eat nightcrawlers when they get big enough. I think all garters can eat worms, we have the checkereds, and a plains garter, and they all eat worms. They are eating pinkies now too. Thanx for watching!

no there are not venomous, they will grow to be about 3ft. or less. They are one of the smaller garters. Thanks for watching!
