If you are using Logic Pro then choose an instrument channel and in the 'MIDI-controlled effects' section you will find Robotronic. Open this then use the sidechain to choose your carrier signal...e,i, audio 1 or bus 1. then you can use Robotronic as a Midi vocoder instrument. However this really is not the best vocoder, but the fact that it has its own compressor and effects unit is appealing.

but no effects such as those used in the techno songs like rockit?? effects that are really good

@roqqert you would probably have to set it up by syncing it to your daw's midi assign

yes it sounds great , but can u explain how to set it up !!!i did you use buses ? how do u get the audio to the vocoder ? this one is a bit tricky and lots of folks are asking the same question . how do you set it up ?...thanks
