The commentator said Berbick stepped only four years before this bout with Holmes for the first time in a boxing gym. So that would have been in 1977. Well this cant be true since Berbick already participated in the 1975 Pan American Games. And he even represented Jamaica at the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
