Magic Kingdom Yuletide Special pt. 1

This is a holiday special from the 1980's based in Disneyland, which I taped off TV 20 years ago and have been watching each and every year since. It involves Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and the rest of their friends celebrating the holidays. Unfortunately, Mister Scrooge McDuck isn't exactly in the celebratory mood, so Mickey and the gang attempt to change his mind about the Magic of Christmas while also celebrating the season. You'll notice Goofy isn't with the gang. You'll see why later (assuming I can ever get pts 2 and 3 up as well).

The opening credits are cut out, so I originally didn't know the title of this. I'd also like to give thanks to 80scommercialvault for help with finding out the title.

Hopefully I can finish putting the rest of this up by next weekend.

I actually have this on tape someplace! It's on a tape comprised entirely of Christmas specials, including my favorite (and I'm sure a favorite of everyone else, too), "A Charlie Brown Christmas".

Who is Mickey's voice here? Wayne Allwine started doing it in 1977 but this doesn't sound like him.

Oh my God!! I have been looking for this Disney special for years, ever since it got taped over when I was a kid. I have very fond memories of this, and must have watched it about 25+ times!!! I had no idea what it was called, which has made it difficult to find. I wish Disney would do more traditional specials like this.

I think it's cool that Allen Young is still doing Scrooge after all these years tho. I hope that Disney can do something new with Scrooge and the gang.

Allen Young hadnt started doing Scrooge's voice until about 1983.
