I believe in giving credit where credit is do and our nation's military children deserve all the credit in the world. For our freedom, for our happiness, for our lives these children give up precious time in their early years. These members of the silent ranks may not have official titles but they are certainly high up on military sacrifice. Thank you kids. I also want to give a special shout out to the Stiles kids: Brooke, Natalia, and Olivia. Even though they're not pictured in this video, they are the real life military kids I know and I'd like all of you out here to keep them in your prayers while they wait for their daddy to come home.

For help with young children and deployment go to: www.sesameworkshop.org/tlc/

Pics are from google and yahoo search and the song is from Veggie Tales.

Update: The Stiles kids' dad is home safe but now if you guys could pray for my little friend Noah Bourbeau. He and his pregnant mommy are home waiting for their deployed sailor

Update 2.0- Noah got to meet his daddy!!! He's home for awhile. However, my friend Shay's dad is now deployed so prayers for her and her family would be awesome

  • @Karatekicker1313 No, thank you

  • My stepdad is on his on his 9th deployment in Afghanistan. He's been in the military since I was a baby. He used to in the marines for three years then he joined the air force. Now he's in the army. He's been to Viet-nam, Korea, the Perisan gulf(the Gulf War), Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and a buch of other places. This the side of me I'm uncomfortable other people knowing about me.

  • Thank you for this video. I am a military child. I always wanted for the other kids to just accept me, being new, and know that at any moment I could move. I am thankful I have the family I have and that I get to experience many things these kids could only dream of. Thank you again [:

  • There is no sacrafice that I can give that will match that of a Soldier, Marine, Salior, or Airmen who left their family and laid down their life so that I can raise my family in freedom. Take notes Hollywood because this is what true hero's look like, and not just the military that gave their life, but also the family that stayed home and carried on with life.

  • I am not a military "brat" but a am a military brother (my brother was in the Marines) I felt the same loss and anxiety that these kids experience. Every week I put 20 dollars into a special fund for Toys for Tots, Last Christmas I donated 750.00 in toys

Here is an interesting fact about the word BRAT: It is actually an abbreviation for Born Raised And Trained.

  • my dad was in the US Navy since he was 20.He missed everything when i was born my first birthday, my baptism, my pre-k and kindergarten graduation, my first day of school, we moved so many time and thank god he finally retired. now my brother in law is fighting. its hard to know many people dont give military children credit but they fight just as hard as the soliders.they fight by praying everyday and going to bed and living knowing they might lose a parent! they deserve to be reconized

  • My littlest sister didn't have her dad wtih her for her first chrismas or birthday. when my dad got back she didn't even know who he was. thats what makes deployments so hard on the families

  • This video made me miss my daughters even more. They have made the ultimate sacrifice and that is to be my kids while i deploy i am going to miss my oldest daughters birthday in July and i missed the birth of my youngest last december. My children are what push me through my deployment and are what keep me on my toes and ready for anything kill or be killed i know i have 2 wonderful little girls and 1 amazing wife who is raising them

  • my great grandfather met my greatgrandma during the WW2 he survived pearl harbor and my other greatgrandfather was at the Eagle Nest fighting the nazis head on he was in the navy boats for 3 months when he went across the atlantic ocean hes still alive but the one from pearl harbor died of a type of cancer.

  • Are you a military kid who has moved back to your passport country at some point during your life? If your answer is yes, please do my questionnaire!
