Left 4 Dead - Death Aboard: 5 - Lighthouse

The much awaited ending finale to the meritorious Death Aboard campaign by the accomplished mapper Diputs takes place on and near a hill where a lighthouse is situated. The superb usage of the skybox greatly enhances the large open areas common on the map. The props and structuring of the map is unarguabley premium. The custom rescue vehicle is also striking and certainly not anticipated by the player.

However, this map is not without its flaws. Unlike the previous maps, there is little pathing direction. The player is forced to figure out the layout of the map by him/herself. This could be hard for some people, though the layout is not too difficult to comprehend. The finale time also feels exceptionally long, and tanks seem to be bugged. (Perhaps they spawn above a cliff, only to fall and die to their unintended deaths? Lolz)

Perhaps the biggest flaw is the directions for the escape vehicle. Perhaps the maker figured the escape vehicle is large enough to be noticed, so decided not to add any cues. This is a gigantic mistake. At the ending finale, there will be tanks charging in along with a prodigious amount of zombies. Time to be spared to look for the rescue vehicle is sparse. The fact that the vehicle is far away from the radio does not help much either. May Diputs come up with some directions for the escape vehicle.
