Quaid e Azam ... where words dont mean anything. Hardly unlikable .. undisputed ... his mention would instill a great respect and huge admiration in the listener ... one would think he was not worldly but sent from heavens which he was. Eternal he is in history and in our hearts and he will be .. forever.

kemal Ataturk was not a nationalist at all.he was an agent of Britain.K. Ataturk was not even anti-imperialist. Pakistani nationalism was oppressed people's nationalism.turkey was allowed to be established in return of is rail in the land of Philistine. Ataturk was in fact a fascist and admired of Mussolini. Ataturk was in charge when Armenian people had been massacred during ottoman empire after that successful ethnic cleansing, he was made president of turkey with the rest of other murderers.

I think they had similar ideologies, except that Jinnah, the lawyer, was more passive secularist and nationalist than Ataturk the soldier.

If we fail to honor our past leaders, there will be no other great leader born in Pakistan. We must learn to accept what took place and then take steps to create stability, tolerance and strong economy for future generations. Fighting over different views, make no difference. Make a difference in your community, in your family and with people you interact, that is true jihad. Be good to the poor and speak against injustice by getting together without violence or riots.

The fact is, most prominent figures of the muslim league were not even pro division of India. The clergy have played a very dark game in making of Pakistan. Our religious leaders are blinded by the agenda of other super powers as Saud and Iran thus even to this day, they dont to listen to the heart, mind and address the needs of the ordinary man in Pakistan: he/she is not represented by any politician or political group. What we face is a rise in intolerance & others dictate our interior moves.

” But make no mistake : Pakistan is NOT a theocracy or anything like it.” [ Jinnah, Message to the people of Australia, 19 February 1948 ]

“...you are free to go to your temples, mosques or any other place of worship in Pakistan. You may belong to any religion, caste or creed that has nothing to do with the business of the state. in due course of time Hindus will cease to be Hindus and Muslims will cease to Muslims- not in a religious sense for that is the personal faith of an individual- but in a political sense as citizens of one state”
[Jinnah’s address to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan]

please don't compare Quaid e Azam with Ata Turk...... ideologically very different, atleast how Quaid e Azam wanted Pakistan to be.
mjzafar 2 years ago 4
Yes ideologically different but very similar in that both were nationalists: Ata Turk a Turkish nationalist, and Jinnah a Pakistani nationalist. In fact, the Quaid greatly admired this sense of pride in Ata Turk and the way he lifted his nation from defeat. That's all. No one is talking about ideologies in this short film. Please focus on this and don't turn everything into a religious controversy. Some Turks also differ with his ideology, but appreciate that AtaTurk was a strong patriot.
