Adidas sucks? really?..I thought Britta Steffen creates the new world record in Adidas Hydrofoil. Well..the suits issues as a whole sucks..now u dont know who's the really good swimmners are. Their body is so high in the water now, theirs buts jutting out of the water. FINA screwed big time..hope 2010 will be better with only textile and limited coverage suits

Their and many others' protest is:
"We cannot give the best if we don't have the best!!!" In other words the German swimmers want to start with their own preferred racing suits. That was a clear protest to the German Swim Association. Well, the result is that Germany lost Addidas as a sponsor!!

Yeah there was a big protest here in Germany. Addidas is the main sponsor of the German National Team and ... to be honest: ADDIDAS SUCKS. Helge Meuw has a contract with Arena I think and Rupprath with Speedo. Of course both prefer to start with their own preferred equipment. Though, if they start with Speedo or Arena, they both will have to pay a penalty of about 100.000€ (or something like that).
