Jesus and the Church

We asked Ole Miss students two questions:
1) What do you think of Jesus?
2) What do you think of the church?

Here in the Bible Belt, you might expect the same answer from everyone. That's not what we got.

Yeah, I'd love to see someone do this in another part of the country. Our campus minister did one in West Virginia and got some drastically different answers. I think he said they were generally ok with the church but weren't so keen on Jesus. Maybe he's got a copy of that video I could post. I'll ask.

I love Jesus and I believe as long as you accept him into your heart and belive that He is God's son and that he died to save you, you will go to Heaven. Also, the church is not a building, it is the people.

@kbcats you dont stop at believing, you then get faith. with faith in God also means obediance. John 3:5, which is fulfilled in acts 2:38. its scripture. cant fight with that

Wow good video. Glad majority of the people are christians. But the truth is some denominations are rigged. But the main part is a lot of them are saved. And christians shouldn't force their beliefs or make others feel like they are lower than them. Should show love.

No one but God is judge. Just because you are a kind person doesn't mean you are going to heaven. Jesus Christ is the only way. We are all sinners and believing on what He did for us is the way to salvation.

So many claim to be true Christians,yet they dismiss Matthew 19:21-24...I guess some pick and choose which verses they want to believe.

I am so glad you guys did this. So interesting. I am from Oxford and have wondered what kind of ministries there were to reach the students. Thanks for standing for Him.
