Call of Duty: Black Ops - Nuketown Mannequin Secret Easter Egg

Well done for them.

So a dozen or so of us over at the Den Kirson forums organized an attempt to discover the Nuketown mannequin secret hinted at by a Black Ops dev [David Vonderhaar] in the video linked below. After about a dozen and a half attempts we had to give up, possibly due to the problems I went over in the video. It was a good attempt, but we just couldn't get it done.

For anybody who wants to have their own at this secret, there's about 45 to 48 mannequins in total. They'll spawn randomly around the map with about 18 or so that always spawn in certain positions, so you'll need to assign areas and not specific mannequins which makes the test just a little bit harder. The one mannequin that I could forsee tripping up most people is in a second story window on the left side of one of the houses - there's a little bush you can stand on to see. But good luck to everyone who tries, hopefully you'll have more success than we did. Even more information is included in the Nuketown secret thread at the Den Kirson forums below.

Last night, I got your girl into Last Stand. I used Deep Impact to Double Tap her Bouncing Bettys. She sucked me like she had Iron Lungs, I am glad I had Juggernaut. We went all night using Extreme Conditioning. Her Sleight Of Hand got me to Sonic Boom all over her face. Luckily for her I used Steady Aim so none of it went on her hair. We went round for round because I was packing Bandolier. And you didn't here us because we were both using Dead Silence

But if it has to be patched, ATLEAST make a zombie mode were you have infinite life and ammo (which of course is disconnected from leaderboards). Where

we can just have fun and explore! ¨
