Cde Mohammed Hassan, Former Ethiopian Ambassador, now leading member of the PTB (Workers Party of Belgium), Speaks at the CPGB-MLs Meeting to Celebrate the Great Socialist October Revolution.

He discusses the current capitalist crisis and contrasts the current strictures of the leaders of imperialism with their former triumphalism when the USSR finally collapsed under the weight of the vandalism done to its economy by Khruschivite Revisionism, through to Gorbachev. Yeltsin was the logical result of these policies.

He discusses the benefits accrued by Soviet Workers during the Pre 1956 Soviet Union.

He discusses Lenin's "One step forward, two steps back". The necessity of the NEP after the devastating war of intervention waged by 15 imperialist and capitalist powers in their unsuccessful attempt to strangle the fledgeling worker's state at birth.

But it was a temporary strategic withdrawal - not a design for "market socialism" as advocated by capitalist roaders then and later.

  • As an Ethiopians, I know Mohammed Hassan is a man who wishes the worst for Ethiopians. He gets money from Eritrean government to divide Ethiopians. The only way he can speak freely is because of the freedom and civil right he is garneted in Europe, but he even takes that for granted. What a disgraceful man.

  • 5.59 - "15 countries including the United States invaded the Soviet Union and destroyed everything...and killed 10 million soviet people"

    When did this happen?

    Link? Webpage? Resource?

  • Where is part 2?
