Nice setup and tips, maybe use a square fishing throw net/ minnow net , strategically tacked to the underside of your set to keep the trains from hitting the floor. they arent that much. and could save your trains! :)

I've used some corrugated cardboard as a "fence". Cheaper than plexiglass and easily mounted with some staples on the side of the decking. And if you muck it up somehow, it's easily replaced.
