How does this new model compare to the INA-W910? It looks like an updated version with a larger screen, bluetooth audio streaming, and couple tweaks.

how responsive is the unit? can you change colors and/or layout? When it plays music its kind of ridiculous to have 4 rows of buttons available at all times

@SuperBravoOne Hi, from what I remember it wasn't perfect, these were prototypes we were playing with and not all available features/menus were accessible. Having said that, it's still way faster than a Kenwood double din. And you can change the source layout/icons on your main screen.

Will this 8" head unit fit in an '08 Toyota Tacoma? I see in the press release on Alpine's website that it will fit the new 2012 Tacomas, but didn't see anything regarding earlier years.

from what I can see, the 2012 is no different than the 2008. even if it was, the cool thing about these units is behind the oversized screen it's a standard double din radio. So it will be pretty easy to customize a regular dash kit to accommodate this radio.

In person you can see it's much more of an overhaul and complete redesign. The map quality is SO much better, it's where the INA-W910 should have been. It's sharper, cleaner and very similar to Garmin's map layout. I always found the 910 Map to be a bit grainy.
The overall A/V menu is much more user friendly and updated, I think people will really like the customizable favorites menu. I think we'll sell a ton of the Alpine navigation systems this year.

if you're actually in the industry and work on these cars then you'd know it's all the same shit, it's a GM. The video is about the product. Do you have a comment on the product that was shown?
