Lise de la Salle is a truly phenomenal pianist. For me, I first go by "I know it when I hear the first few measures", and then do the analysis. For one thing, the sound that she produces is very, very clear. For me, that's a very important thing. But also she has the passion, emotion and intellect that is evident in her performance..To say that she is wonderful would be an understatement....

Reading the comment of "Abraeumer83" makes me very angry. Among contemporary pianists Lise de la Salle is one of my most favorite. She performs beautifully.
Anyone who "rates" her anything less than marvelous is not my sort of person.
It pains me to think of her reading such a mindless response in return for so much talent and effort. If she reads it, she should put it out of her mind.

@Abraeumer83 why do you think she's overrated? (not asking to be a jerk, i'd really like to know)
