THe problem with social security is the retarded maximum payments! This concept that the rich should pay a lower percentage of their income on social security because they can only recieve a maximum amount of benefits is pure nonsense! A wealthy individual paying 1 million in income taxes OBVIOUSLY ISN'T GETTING 1 MILLION IN GOVT. SERVICES!!!! You don't JUST pay for what you use! Our country would collapse if that were the case

But they get a bonus and than I see them cheering in their offices through a glass wall in excitement about their year end bonus and they could give a sh_t. about the ones that got them there. A great leader recognizes who got them their and shares in the success. No one manages...managers. But eventually they will fall or take the whole ship down with them. Oh and by the way they feel they are entitled to better benefits, better health care, pensions you name it. I believe we are all equal.

Do they not realize that we the people now who we are calling? And than many managers do not promote and hire great people and qualified leaders to move up in the company. They hire out outside, and hire people they are friends with. They do not tell their staff about the "relationship" but keep it concealed. Than they have the tenacity to tell their staff to their face that their are honest and always do what is fair and rite. I call them cowards, manipulators and weak leaders.

Mr. Christie you speak truths and I am so tired of living in cities where the mayor and city hall only care about getting a raise, maxing out their expense accounts and expecting a Golden Pension. I am also insulted about mangers managing great people and only care about their own salaries and care about their own benefits, bonuses and variable pay.

I call new managers and on their voice mail they say you have reached the manager John Doe of ABC Inc. daaaaa who cares.

my grandparents were candian, and the second my grandmother could, she fled that country to come here. if you think the US is limited to the music in its anthem then you should stay in canada, its just a different system and i prefer ours even though its broken now .

@dave777blaster they arent talking about cutting off payments. and its not paid in full. they are talking about phasing it out, getting the people on it the money they are owed, and the people young enough to not have paid much into the system the right to stop paying in and it would end itself there.

nobody is saying ditch all the people 5 years away from retirement.
