  • You can't tell the delay if there is any. THe processors are faster than you can react. I vertically fish with TVG On or Off and both I can see the fish hit the bait vefore I can feel it. I use it on the trolling motor and it works fine turning - this is how I can look under docks.

  • This has two takes with great screen images in both so instead of editing them out I combined them into one.

  • i was wondering what the tvg was for exactly. i imagine there is a delay from the processing it needs to do with tvg on. my question is this. i plan on using my 798 for ice fishing also. should i turn tvg off to make the returns process faster? and do you think the si will work if i only use 1 side and rotate my tranducer? im thinking my the images will be blurred like i was turning in a boat
