Trinity MCC of Gainesville's video It Gets Better

In response to the recent increase in gay youth suicides after episodes of anti-gay bullying, Trinity Metropolitan Community Church of Gainesville, Florida offers this video. It contains messages of hope with the theme, "It Gets Better," for youth, school counselors, church leaders, parents and all those who care about the lives of today's youth. Permission is granted to use and distribute it.

I attended Trinity MCC in Gainesville when I was a student there and I was so pleased to see this video showing how much better things can get, especially if you come from an oppressive religious environment. For any LGBT Christians whose families and communities are using religion as a weapon against you, if you feel that Christianity is still the right path for you and you want to find a welcoming, inclusive, life-affirming Christian community, the MCC church is a wonderful place to be.
