Interracial Marriage Grows in America

The Pew Research Center says in 2008 22 percent of African American men who became newlyweds married outside their race. It part of a growing trend nationwide as the research indicates that one in seven new marriages is inter-racial or inter ethnic

In 1961, when Barack Obama's parents were together, less than 1 in 1000 pairings were like theirs. Now, inter-racial or inter ethnic marriages are one in 60.

The largest bulk of this trend is between white and Hispanic unions at 41% followed by white and Asian marriages at 15%. Black and white couples are third at 11%.

Polling shows that most Americans are fine with inter-racial or interethnic marriages and not just in a general sense. More than 60% say they would be fine with it if they heard a family member was marrying outside their own race.

One thing I've noticed though from the BW/WM couples I've seen, you can tell who "wears the pants" in the relationship. The BW has the dominant personality, and the WM seems p**** whipped (My impression only). I'm glad more of us are branching out.

One of the best things during the last few decades is that blacks, whites, asians etc have started to fuck each others. Inevitably, this leads many interracial couples to learn how similar most cultures and races are.Heightened passions that differences can bring, can be a very good thing. The children of interracial marriages also evidence more robust health which is a reflection of increased genetic diversity.
